Our Wellbeing Car scheme is a service designed to provide accessible, affordable transport to people who may have difficulty using public transport or do not have access to a private car.

We rely on volunteer drivers using their own vehicles to take passengers to where they need to be.  This allows people to be picked up from home and taken to their exact destination.

Where do we go?

We provide transport across the UK, from local doctor and hospital visits to specialised treatment centres in cities like London and Cambridge.

Simply give our office a call at 01933 223636, and our welcoming team will assist you. Share your appointment details, and we’ll do our best to find a driver that suits your requirements.

What does it cost?

This is one of our membership services with an annual membership fee of £40 per year. There is a £3 booking fee and the driver is paid 55 pence per mile, starting from their home. So a trip with a driver living in Irchester, collecting a passenger from their home in Wellingborough and taking them to Kettering General Hospital, waiting up to 2 hours for them and back would cost the passenger approximately £26.42 for the round trip. The fee is paid to the driver on the day, in cash.

Due to a lack of volunteer drivers, we are sorry but this service is currently closed to new members.
